The Korean Government scholarship program

1. Program Objective

The objective of the Korean Government scholarship program is to provide international students with the opportunities to conduct advanced studies at higher educational institutions in theRepublic ofKorea in order to promote international exchange in education and mutual friendship between countries.




2. Academic Programs & Institutions


(1) Academic degree program : master’s degree and doctoral degree (Ph.D.)
(2) Institutions : all the graduate schools in Korea

3.  Submission of Required Documents

  (2) Deadline of Submission: April. 30. 2010
      Applications must be submitted by mail or hand delivery.

4. Selection Process


The KGSP is administered by the Embassy of theRepublic ofKorea on behalf of the NIIED. Application materials for the KGSP must be submitted to the Embassy of theRepublic ofKorea .


Candidates will normally be interviewed for some subjects by the embassy and they will be asked to complete a written test at interview.



Final selection will be made by the NIIED.
